BGS AADA draws its institutional character and values from the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (Registered) — one of Karnataka’s most respected philanthropic and educational trusts, established in 1973 under the visionary stewardship of His Divine Soul, Jagadguru Padmabhushana Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanath Maha Swamiji, the 71st Pontiff of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, Nagamangala Taluk, Mandya District.

Mahaswamiji believed that true education addresses three dimensions of the human being — intellectual, spiritual and physical — and that a society served by educated, ethically grounded individuals is a society at peace. With this vision, he established what has grown into one of India’s largest educational trusts, managing over 500 educational units across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Delhi, collectively benefiting more than one lakh students every year.

The Trust today is led by His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji, the 72nd Pontiff and Chairman of the Trust, whose vision continues to expand its reach and deepen its commitment to quality and inclusivity. The Trust’s managing operations and day-to-day institutional leadership are driven by Sri Sri Dr. Prakashanath Swamiji, Managing Director of the BGS & SJB Group of Institutions and Hospitals.
